Introductory level workshops that emphasize self-awareness and self-healing are open to anyone who has a sincere desire to empower themselves though earth-based wisdom. Take one workshop as way to reconnect with yourself, or sign up for the whole series to gain a solid base in the healing potential of nature. An advanced energetic healing and soul retrieval training is offered for those who have a deeper commitment to healing others (see Training).

The Medicine Wheel teaches us that life is continuous, without beginning or end. ‘Medicine’ means power or knowledge, while the ‘wheel’ represents the circle of life. Hence the Medicine Wheel is considered to be a circle of knowledge that gives one power over one’s life. In this workshop we will focus on how ancient shamanic principles can foster the development of inner awareness and self-healing. As we face the different directions on the Medicine Wheel and invite the powers of those directions into our lives, we feel our connection with the Earth, with Spirit, and with our Selves. By accessing the ancient wisdom of the Medicine Wheel we receive different reflections of who we are and who we are becoming. Come and learn the art of Shamanic Journeying, connect to your animal guides and clarify your intent for the next season of your life.

Shamanic Recapitulation

Recapitulation is a valuable tool that has been used by shamanic practitioners to heal long-standing issues of imbalance. This simple shamanic healing technique takes you back to the time before the pattern of disharmony began. Recapitulating these strands of memory helps you get to the bottom of the conflicts that underlie them. These underlying conflicts must be resolved in order to silence our ‘internal dialogue’ and for lasting change to occur. Following the path back to the time before the pattern began brings new awareness, which can bring resolution and a new sense of well-being.
We will begin with a brief overview of the Medicine Wheel and basic Shamanic principles to set the stage for our recapitulation work. This workshop is appropriate for anyone wishing to work on the patterns of disharmony in their lives. No prior knowledge of Shamanism is required. Please feel free to invite your friends.
