Shamanic Healing Intensive

Intent: Using the teachings of the Medicine Wheel you will be guided on a personal healing journey to bring awareness to patterns that no longer serve you, as well as helping you to connect more deeply to your Soul’s purpose.

Content: Students will learn: the Art of Shamanic Journeying; Energetic Healing Techniques to work on the luminous field (including Chakra and Aura balancing, Cord Cutting); Recapitulation (a shamanic technique for reframing and healing the past). Students will also learn how to create Sacred Space and will be introduced to Ceremonial work through the Sweat Lodge, and the Fire Ceremony.

Requirements: Students must commit to the first 4 weekends.  The last weekend, a personal Vision Quest, is optional. An introductory interview is required to determine the student’s readiness for the program.

Teachers: Adriana Engert has been a body-oriented therapist specializing in Thai Yoga Massage, Cranial Sacral and Reflexology since 2001. She is also a practitioner of Shamanic Healing and Soul Retrieval.

Liddy Flewwelling has practiced holistic and energetic healing in Montreal for over 25 years. A former teacher of Energetic Healing at Institute N.H.C she now works primarily with Plant Spirit Medicine, Soul Retrieval and Shamanic Healing.

Shamanic Healing Training 

Content: This professional training prepares the student to do a complete shamanic healing session. Topics covered include Medicine Wheel Teachings, Creation of Sacred Space, the Art of Journeying, Chakra and Aura Balancing, the Illumination Technique, Cord Cutting, Extraction, Recapitulation, Sweat Lodge and Fire Ceremony.

Requirements: Students are required to commit to all 5 weekends, plus supervision and case studies. An introductory interview is required to determine the student’s readiness for the program.  This course is a prerequisite for the Soul Retrieval training to be offered at a later date.

Soul Retrieval Training 

Explore advanced energetic healing techniques and Soul Retrieval under the guidance of experienced practitioners. The Shamanic Healing Training  is a prerequisite for this course.

The Soul Retrieval training will be offered over 3 weekends with 3 days of supervised practicum.  The practicum will be an opportunity to experience soul retrieval sessions either with your classmates or on someone from outside the class.

Below is a description of the Soul Retrieval process that will be taught.

When we experience a deep trauma or prolonged stress, we may experience a loss at the soul level. Physical, mental and emotional imbalance is often the result. Using both traditional shamanic techniques and western psychological tools, students are trained in many different approaches to help their clients engage their soul loss directly and to create the space for a return to wholeness. The gifts of this process are many.
