Shamanic Healing Training – 5 weekends, beginning Feb. 20, 2010
Content: This professional training prepares the student to do a complete shamanic healing session. Topics covered include Medicine Wheel Teachings, Creation of Sacred Space, the Art of Journeying, Chakra and Aura Balancing, the Illumination Technique, Cord Cutting, Extraction, Recapitulation, Sweat Lodge and Fire Ceremony.
Requirements: There are no prerequisites for this course. Students are required to commit to all 5 weekends, plus supervision and case studies. An introductory interview is required to determine the student’s readiness for the program. Because of the intimate and intense nature of this work we will only accept 12 students per training. This course is a prerequisite for the Soul Retrieval training to be offered at a later date.
Workshop Dates: Feb 20-21, Mar 27-28, Apr 24-25, May 22-24, and Jun 26-28. The first 3 weekends will be held in Montreal. The remaining 2 three-day weekends will be held in the country.
Cost for the program: $900. (Does not include room and board or supervision). A $300 non-refundable deposit is required by Feb. 2, 2010.
Teachers: This training will be guided by Liddy Flewwelling and Adriana Engert.
Adriana is a body oriented therapist specializing in Thai Yoga Massage, Cranial Sacral and Reflexology. She is a graduate of Institute N.H.C. and has had a healing practice in Montreal for 7 years.
Liddy has had a holistic healing practice in Montreal for over 25 years, and has been a teacher of Energetic Healing at Institute N.H.C. for 17 years. Her current healing work includes Plant Spirit Medicine, Soul Retrieval and Shamanic Healing.

Explore advanced energetic healing techniques and Soul Retrieval under the guidance of an experienced practitioner. The Shamanic Healing Training (see above) is a prerequisite for this course.
What is Soul Retrieval? When we experience a deep trauma or prolonged stress, we may experience a loss at the soul level. Physical, mental and emotional imbalance is often the result. Using both traditional shamanic techniques and western psychological tools, students are trained in many different approaches to help their clients engage their soul loss directly and to create the space for a return to wholeness. The gifts of this process are many.
